Episode 121

ED LATIMORE | How To Get Uncomfortable

Ed Latimore is a former heavyweight boxer, competitive chess player, physics degree holder, veteran of the US Army National Guard, recovered alcoholic, husband and new father, and the author of three books, including the upcoming "Hard Lessons From the Hurt Business.

He grew up in the hood, was flat broke by 27, and six years later he cracked 6-figures online, ironically, by tweeting about crack.

From deeply unfavorable conditions, from his early life onwards, Ed decided to take over and did.

For all these reasons and more, I honor Ed for the extraordinary man he is. By the end of this episode, after hearing his story, I hope you will too.

In our conversation we discussed:

  • Fatherhood and Questioning Evolution
  • His Upcoming Return to the the Ring
  • The Death of His Parents
  • Curiosity, Grit, Self-Discipline
  • Overcoming alcoholism
  • Arguments against Allyship
  • His new book, "Hard Lessons from the Hurt Business"
